Last week BHSC held its AGM and we are very proud to announce that Michael Sheridan will be taking over as President in 2022. Michael comes with a wealth of football knowledge, impeccable governance skills and leadership qualities. The full committee line up will be announced soon but there are still some key positions vacant so please get in touch if you’re interested in supporting this community club.
For me, the last five years serving on the committee has been a privilege and I would like to thank all the members and especially the past and present committee members who have helped this club thrive through some tough times. A special mention to a trio who are also standing down this year, Shane Brasier, Skye Glover and Scott Marlow. Your dedication and tireless volunteer work has been remarkable and the community thanks you. I personally couldn’t have done it without you. Also a mention to Nat Yates and Blaise Morfet who will also be standing down, thank you.

We were lucky enough at the AGM to induct a new life member into our club’s highest honour. Jason Portch is club legend – not only a fierce and very talented player on the field but a fantastic contributor off the field. Jason has been around since the inception of the club and held office for two years as President as well as a couple more as Vice President.
It was a privilege to have fellow life members Andy Neild and Jon Phillips along, with Andy doing the honours of inducting Portchy. Well done mate and thank you for your services. Greatly deserved.
